Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America's Army and the men and women who serve.  AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, and family members.  AUSA provides professional development opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.

The Stonewall Jackson Chapter of the AUSA focuses efforts on supporting U.S. army reserve units and their families, Virginia Army National Guard units and their families, ROTC units at five area colleges and universities, JROTC units in nineteen area high schools, the Virginia Veteran's Care Center, and the Army retirees that are located within the area that the chapter encompasses.
